Dr. Raza Ullah highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and its ultimate benefits. He further explicated the term entrepreneurship ecosystem for the convenience of the audience that included majority of the students stemmed from the management science discipline. He further elucidated that the concept of entrepreneurship ecosystem refers to the collective and systemic nature of entrepreneurship. New firms emerge and grow not only because heroic, talented and visionary entrepreneurs created them and develop them. New ventures emerge also because they are located in an environment or "ecosystem" made of private and public players, which nurture and sustain them, making the action of entrepreneurs easier. He went on to explain the instance that the existence of prior ventures, the availability of start-up financing mechanisms, a patent system and a culture tolerating failure all facilitate the creation of new firms. Conversely, the ecosystem can hinder entrepreneurship as is the case in corrupt societies or if an entrepreneur tries to introduce a radical innovation when no technical standard yet exists. The Chief Guest of the event was Vice Chancellor CUSIT Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah who expressed his views about the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Pakistan. He appreciated the efforts of Dr. Raza Ullah for organizing such an informative seminar for the students. Other guest speaker of the Seminar was Dr. Fayaz Ali Shah who deliberated over the "Rule of Law" and provided the statistics of observance and obedience of rule of law in Pakistan in particular and all over the world in general.
