Dr. Khalil Ahmad, Founder

Dr. Khalil Ahmad cherishes a cosmopolitan spirit; he is a moralist; a rationalist; a philosopher; a political philosopher; he believes in Classical Liberalism, as a Theory of Conduct. He has substantially contributed to the founding of the first free market think tank of Pakistan, Alternate Solutions Institute. He is a writer and his latest books include the path-breaking "Pakistan mein riyasati ashrafiya ke urooj" (The rise of state aristocracy in Pakistan) and later, Siyasi Partian Ya Siyasi Bandobast: Pakistani Siyasat Ke Pech-o-Kham Ka Falsafiyana Muhakma (Political Parties or Political Arrangements: A Philosophical Analysis of Politics in Pakistan). Khalil holds a PhD in philosophy and has taught at Lahore for several years.

Dr. Raza Ullah, President

Raza has expertise in public administration, corporate governance and strategic management. He has deep interest in property rights, conflict studies and political history. Dr. Raza is a Dean of Institute of Management and Information Sciences, CECOS University. He has authored "Power Sector Reforms: State Incentives or Market Rules" a comparative study on electricity distribution companies. He is a member of editorial board of various journals including International Review of Management and Business Research and International Review of Social Sciences. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences (Public Administration)

Dr. Fayaz Ali Shah, Director, "Rule of Law for all" Project

Dr. Shah is working as Director Rule of Law Projects in Alternate Solution Institute Pakistan. He has more than 10 years experience in teaching and research and is the author of one book and more than 15 research publications in the field of organizational justice, human behaviour and management.

He received his first degree in law (LL.B) from the Faculty of Law University of Peshawar and his MA in Human Resource Management from Kingston University UK. Recently, he has completed his PhD in Management with specialization of organizational justice from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

He has held lecturing positions at The Liverpool College of Management Sciences, London, UK, City University of Science and IT Peshawar, Pakistan and the University of Malakand, Pakistan. He is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Sciences, Islamia College University Peshawar, which is one of the oldest institutes for higher education in the country. Besides, he is also working as an editor of City University Research Journal (CURJ) and AS Multi Disciplinary Research Journal (ASMRJ). Dr. Shah is a graduate member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and also a member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council.

Adnan Sohail, Manager Creative Works

Adnan Sohail works as Creative Manager at Alternate Solution Institute. He is with the institute for the last several years. He is a model celebrity, humanist, political activist, sportsman, traveler and a creative mind. The institute strengthened after his joining and creative work.

Mr. Danyal,
Training Coordinator
Danyal Suhail was born at Risalpur in KPK. He graduated with a bachelor degree in Economics from University of Peshawar. He actively participates in online trainings and has received several trainings in different disciplines. He is alumnus of PRIME Institute, Islamabad. He is well versed in SPSS, E-view and econometrics. He has profound interests in Macroeconomic analysis, public policy, entrepreneurship and leadership.

Muhammad Farooq Malik, Event Coordinator

Muhammad Farooq Malik works as a Lecturer in department of Management Sciences at Abasyn University, Peshawar. He obtained his bachelor degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Christ Church College, University of Oxford, UK. He earned a Post graduate degree in Human Resource Management from Coventry University, UK.  He also holds a Post graduate in Political Science with distinction from University of Peshawar.

He is the member of Institute of Administrative Management (IAM), UK. He has worked in different capacities with NGO's of international repute and has led major developmental projects as project coordinator. His research interests include public policy and governance, peace and conflict resolution, economic development, poverty alleviation, political philosophy, international relations, history, customer relationship management, public administration and International law.

Sibtain Wahid, Web Administrator

Sibtain Wahid Qadri works at Alternate Solution institute as Website Administrator. He reviews and updates web page content in a timely manner. He recommends website improvements, develops and maintains procedures for ongoing website revision, tracks, compiles, and analyzes web site usage data.
